Jacob Martinez, inspired by his father’s visionary leadership, embarked on his journey in the Forex education world as the Vice President of Managed Accounts for Market Traders Institute (MTI) in 2004, following in the footsteps of his father, Jared Martinez, the founder of MTI. Witnessing rapid success, Jacob swiftly transitioned into the Forex education department, where he played an instrumental role in developing and growing MTI’s sales and marketing departments. Throughout his tenure, Jacob has held diverse leadership positions, culminating in his appointment as President in 2007 and CEO in 2017.

Before joining MTI, Jacob spent 4 1/2 years in the Army, specializing in military intelligence. Rising quickly through the ranks to the position of sergeant, he demonstrated exemplary leadership in various roles.

Jacob’s leadership and resilience were further honed during his two tours in Afghanistan, where he developed a strong work ethic and emerged as a valiant leader. His military experience equipped him with invaluable problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive under pressure, and the capacity to inspire and motivate his colleagues. MTI was honored to welcome Jacob, recognizing the wealth of experience and leadership he brought to the team.
